Watercolor pet portrait class. All skill levels are welcome and all supplies will be provided. The project for this class is to paint a realistic ginger cat. The frenchie in my dog painting had short fur, so i used short brushstrokes.

The perfect time to explore host of techniques to help you paint perfect pet portraits (say that 3 times real fast!) we’ll explore painting smooth and curly fur and teeth, and talk about how to bring life into their eyes. Feel free to use same materials and pigments as i did in the class, or use the alternative tools i�ve offered. I don�t have a ton of experience with watercolor, but you have to start somewhere.
Also i attach my pencil sketch if needed. No artistic background needed, just send us a photo. If the animal you want to paint has longer fur, the techniques i’ve shown you here can be easily adapted by using longer brushstrokes.
